About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Architectural Designer to join our remote design team. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is passionate about architecture, design, drafting, and developing practical design solutions.
The successful candidate will assist with architectural drawings, 2D and 3D models, design documentation, presentations, and project coordination while working closely with senior designers and architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of architectural concepts and design solutions.
- Prepare and revise architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Create and maintain accurate 2D drawings and 3D architectural models.
- Assist with construction documents and project presentation materials.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions from senior architects and project managers.
- Conduct basic research on building materials, codes, regulations, and design standards.
- Assist with site plans, space planning, and preliminary design studies.
- Organize and maintain project files, drawings, and documentation.
- Participate in virtual meetings and design reviews.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and other project team members as required.
- Ensure drawings and design documents are accurate, organized, and completed according to project requirements.
- Support multiple projects and meet assigned deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a closely related field.
- 0–2 years of professional or internship experience in architectural design.
- Basic understanding of architectural principles, drafting, and design documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio demonstrating academic, internship, or personal architectural projects is preferred.
