The Role
The successful attorney will support and lead key components of Entrepreneurial Ventures Associate matters, including:
- Draft and negotiate customary venture investment agreements.
- Support venture capital financings and emerging-company representation.
- Manage multidisciplinary due diligence processes.
- Prepare governance-related board materials.
- Advise on capitalization matters, including convertible securities.
- Coordinate corporate work across regulated and technology-driven businesses.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a Entrepreneurial Ventures Associate with:
- Three to five years of sophisticated corporate experience at a nationally recognized law firm.
- Meaningful experience in venture capital and emerging-company representation.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong writing and analytical skills.
Preferred / advantageous: Experience drafting market-standard venture investment documents, managing multidisciplinary diligence, preparing board materials and handling capitalization matters is particularly helpful.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000-$420,000, depending on experience, qualifications and other relevant factors.
