About This Role
Directing entertainment for Mondrian guests is the core of this role, ensuring exceptional experiences. The Entertainment Director manages performers, musicians, and other entertainers daily, working closely with artists to prepare them for performances and appearances. This role also involves negotiating contracts and other legal matters related to clients' careers, as well as managing entire groups or bands.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of an event, from start to finish
- Negotiate contracts with talent, production companies, and other industry professionals to secure performers for events
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure that all services are provided as agreed upon and within budget
- Make sure that all operations run smoothly, including scheduling rehearsals and performances and making sure that all technical elements are working properly
- Oversee marketing efforts such as creating advertisements or organizing promotional events
- Coordinate with marketing departments to develop and implement marketing strategies that reach target audiences through all channels, including print and digital advertising, social media campaigns, live events, and public relations campaigns
- Manage the budget and work with event planners, designers, and other professionals to create an event that is within the budget guidelines
- Evaluate the success of an event based on factors such as ticket sales, attendance levels, and customer satisfaction levels
- Handle tasks related to event planning, such as selecting a venue, hiring performers, coordinating catering services with caterers, and selecting decorations and other event elements
