Entertainment Coordinator

About This Role

This full-time Entertainment Coordinator position involves developing, planning, implementing, and executing activities for residents in a retirement community. The role requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who can create a wonderful lifestyle for residents, including driving them to events and maintaining the community library.

Responsibilities

• Assist the development, planning, implementation, and execution of activities for residents
• Assist the development of the monthly calendar
• Procure performers
• Provide seminars
• Maintain the resident library
• Drive residents to events
• Assist residents to enter and exit the community vehicle

Requirements

• Big smile, eagerness to learn, open mind, and desire to create a wonderful lifestyle for residents
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Valid driver's license, a clean motor vehicle record, and at least three (3) years of driving experience
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with residents, family members, and other team members
• Self-motivated, organized, and professional
• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks at one time
• Strong customer service skills are required
