Job Summary
The Humanities Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has multiple openings to teach on-campus and hybrid sections of ESL courses. The courses being filled for the fall semester include reading, writing, and grammar over 4 levels.
Job Duties:
The primary responsibilities of these positions are to teach courses, maintain some office hours for mentoring and coaching students, success and retention activities, and utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback. All classes will be offered at the downtown campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in TESOL, linguistics, foreign language, or English in addition to at least 2 years of ESL teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's is preferred.
