Position Summary

We are seeking an Anchor Installation and Repair Technician to join our Anchor Installation & Repair Services team. In this role, you will perform inspections, installations, testing, maintenance, and repairs of fall protection anchors and related safety systems on commercial and industrial structures. You will also generate reports and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate has a strong construction or safety background, is comfortable working at heights, and can balance physical labor with office and reporting responsibilities.

Location: This role would sit in the Norcross, GA office.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, testing, repairs, and installations of fall protection anchors, tie-off points, and related safety systems on commercial and industrial structures.

  • Conduct condition assessments and verify compliance with applicable safety standards and project requirements.

  • Write detailed inspection, testing, and repair reports.

  • Safely climb ladders, access building roofs, elevated platforms, and other work-at-height locations.

  • Operate hand tools and power tools (wrenches, drills, impact drivers, etc.) to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance.

  • Assist with load testing and certification of anchor systems as required.

  • Operate company trucks and trucks with trailers to transport tools, materials, testing equipment, and personnel to and from project sites.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections and maintain compliance with company vehicle safety requirements.

  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload equipment and materials in accordance with company policies and applicable DOT regulations.

  • Provide professional and timely communication with project managers and clients.

  • Work both independently and as part of a small field team to complete jobs on schedule.

  • Travel regionally (primarily GA, TN, FL) and occasionally nationwide for projects.

  • Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

  • 1–5 years of work experience preferred; will consider motivated candidates with less experience or new graduates.

  • Construction, maintenance, structural, roofing, industrial safety, or related field experience strongly preferred.

  • Safety knowledge (OSHA standards) preferred.

  • Ability to work in both office and field settings (approximately 60% field and 40% office, with fluctuations).

  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, and email communication).

  • Physically able to lift approximately 50 lbs. unassisted.

  • Comfortable working at heights, on commercial building roofs, elevated structures, and climbing straight ladders.

  • Ability to work outside and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.

    • Installation and repair work is physical labor, inspections are light labor, and office work involves minor physical activity.
  • Field work in inclement weather is required.

  • Familiarity with hand tools and basic power tools.

  • Punctuality, timeliness, and flexibility with work hours (standard 7:30 a.m. start; typically an 8-hour day, with occasional extended days as project demands require).

  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet ATS driving record standards.

  • Ability to safely operate company trucks and tow equipment trailers.

  • Must be able to pass and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and meet all applicable DOT requirements for operating company vehicles and trailers.

  • Ability to travel for projects (primarily throughout the Southeastern United States, with occasional national travel).

  • Must be able to pass a physical exam, background check, and drug screening.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance in order to access military bases and perform job duties.
