Description and Details of Activities
- Perform inspections and walkthroughs in operational areas to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.
- Provide technical support for the implementation, modification, and improvement of processes, equipment, workstations, and facilities.
- Support the creation and updating of layouts, diagrams, technical documentation, and specifications according to project requirements.
- Follow up on purchase requisitions ( PREQ ), quotations ( RFQ ), and purchase orders ( PO ) related to Engineering projects and requirements.
- Identify problems, risks, and areas of opportunity within processes, supporting the implementation and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
- Support the installation, testing, validation, and start-up of equipment, tools, processes, and systems .
- Provide technical support to operational areas and assist with training related to process changes, new equipment, or work methods.
- Collect, analyze, and document technical and operational data to support decision-making and process improvement.
- Maintain updated records, reports, drawings, procedures, and other documentation related to Engineering activities and projects.
- Maintain the work area according to established 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards .
- Participate in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing projects , including Kaizen activities focused on improving efficiency, productivity, quality, and waste reduction.
- Coordinate and follow up on assigned technical activities, ensuring compliance with project timelines, requirements, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Quality, and other relevant departments to identify problems and implement technical solutions.
- Promptly escalate technical issues, safety risks, quality deviations, or situations that may affect operational continuity.
Experience and Requirements
- Minimum experience: 3–6 months of experience in technical activities, engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, processes, or related areas.
- Education: Technical degree, Associate Degree, incomplete Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Maintenance, Industrial Engineering , or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
- Proficiency in office tools and technical report preparation.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, PLC, Minitab, MS Project , or similar tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and documentation.
- Basic ability to analyze data and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Ability to work on the production floor and perform hands-on technical activities.
- Basic English proficiency , with the ability to understand instructions, technical documentation, and basic work-related communication.
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with different departments.
