The Role

Major Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

QCM customer complain

• Lead the resolution of customer complaints linked to product quality based on their criticality, urgency and workload. Steering takes place the collection of information from the client to the investigation and implementation of corrective actions.
• Ensure before implementation in production that all technical solutions are validated by technical team, considering customer needs, safety and standard requirements.
• Communicate tasks progress regularly both internally and externally in a timely manner to ensure correct information level all along the support process.
• Ensure all necessary details are collected from Customer Centers or Repair Centers to provide best support.
• Investigate on different options to answer support requests and ensure that all risks are well understood by ESD manager in order to take decisions and validate best action plan. Risk analysis should be customer oriented and based on tests, return of experience, or simulation.
• Ensure that the best solutions are provided in order to guarantee customer satisfaction, quality & reliability of products, within acceptable cost and time range.
• Ensure that all relevant return of experience is communicated to R&D teams by well documented report as soon as information is available.

Quality Assurance for product development

• Support Product design team to build the product quality definition and adequate control plan.
• Inform all necessary services with clear communication materials: before, during, and after improvement implementation.
• Actively participate to promote best practices based on return of experience within CPI R&D collaboration teams.

Improvement Projects/ Engineering Change management

• Lead product improvement feasibility study to confirm improvement plan: technical solution, validation plan, financial analysis, resources and time plan estimation.
• Go through ECR/ECN process for implementation by running change including Drawing revise, BOM change management, and trigger the ECN process.
• Monitor progress of each task along the project, and regularly inform related members until implementation is completed.

Expertise

• Know CPI products strength and weakness in applications.
• Actively support and promote improvements of products quality.
• Always ensure protection of intellectual property of the company.

Security, Quality, Health and Environment

• Ensure that all tasks are done in accordance with safety, quality, health and environment policy of the company.
• Ensure that all actions follow process and procedures defined in IMS Quality system.
• Make sure all documents and records are used correctly and in appropriate time.
• Actively participate to continuous improvement of IMS Quality system (process, procedures, documents and records.
• Strictly follow the safety procedures and instructions during the travel and at the workplaces in company, customers' and business partners' facility, and correctly wear Personal Protective Equipment according to instruction. Actively participate safety training, self-learning and other activities. Report safety risk to prevent accident.

Working conditions

• Laptop and phone, in open space.
• PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to be used in designated area.
• Compliance with general safety and rules in office and lab.
• Regular business trip in China and Asia (mainly Chinese Taiwan and Japan).
• Occasional business trip to Europe (mainly France).

What we expect of you?

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 4 to 6 years’ experience in an engineering support or mechanical design related field.
• 2 years’ engineering change management experience in mass production is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills

• Good understanding of Quality management tools and problem-solving tools (8D, 4W2H, 5why)
• Good understanding of measurement (physical, mechanical), and technical norms.
• Good understanding of basic industrialization process (machining, casting, assembly)
• Good understanding of mechanical, able to use Creo for product improvement design
• Good understanding of SAP, PdmLink, MS office.
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin): technical level.
