This engineering manager role leads a team of product design engineers, focusing on internal research and development, new product development, sustaining engineering, manufacturing sourcing changes, cost reduction projects, and new business campaigns. The manager oversees project engineering work from initial scoping through execution and closure, providing communication to stakeholders and coordinating all work within assigned projects. This position is responsible for functional management activities including hiring, performance management, and talent development, specifically for mechanical hold down/release mechanism devices and supporting electrical connector product lines.
