Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Engineer - II (Associate) - Onsite position with a Pharmaceutical Company located in West Point, PA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role supports a manufacturing environment by managing deviations, authoring technical documentation, and driving continuous improvement projects. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical writing and project management skills to ensure compliance and enhance operational efficiency within a GMP-regulated facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Support deviations, including assessment of product impact and determination of root cause and corrective/preventative actions
  • Assist in writing of investigations as well as quality incidents
  • Author, support, update, and/or lead documentation updates such as SOPs, batch records, and other GMP documentation
  • Support equipment and facility projects for various operational areas
  • Support continuous improvement projects that increase compliance, reduce cost, and/or simplify processes
  • Examine complex issues from diverse perspectives to understand and resolve the root cause
  • Design, conduct, and/or review and approve experimental protocols as needed
  • Provide on-the-floor support of complex operational and technical issues
  • Complete and/or lead projects to improve process performance, including investigation and execution of CAPAs
  • Support team safety, environmental, and compliance objectives
  • Manage project timelines to ensure key due dates are met and escalate potential delays
  • Partner effectively with Operations, Quality, Planning, project teams, and external vendors

Requirements:

  • B.S. or B.A. in Engineering, Sciences, or related discipline
  • 2-4 years of experience (combination of co-op/real world acceptable)
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Highly developed communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage projects and work to schedule/deadlines

Desired skills:

  • Deviation Management Investigation experience
  • Experience in biologics, vaccine, or bulk sterile manufacturing facilities
  • Change Control experience
  • Experience in root cause analysis
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to meet a quick pace and hard deadlines
  • Any previous SAP and/or Power BI experience
