About the role
Engineer – Formwork – Site is responsible for end-to-end planning, supervision, and execution of formwork activities at the project site. The role ensures timely, safe, and quality erection, dismantling, and reuse of formwork systems in line with structural drawings and construction schedules. The incumbent manages formwork teams, coordinates with engineering, procurement, and safety departments, and ensures cost-effective use of materials and labour to meet the project's formwork cycle and productivity targets.
Plan and manage end-of-end site formwork activities including layout, erection, alignment, dismantling, and reuse of formwork systems. ? Interpret formwork and structural drawings to ensure accurate and safe implementation on-site. ? Supervise the erection and de-shuttering of formwork for slabs, beams, columns, walls, and other structural elements. ? Coordinate with project engineers, structural and planning teams to align formwork cycle with construction schedules. ? Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and engineering standards during all formwork activities. ? Monitor and optimize formwork cycle time, material utilization, and manpower deployment.
