Job Description
He should have a strong domain knowledge and well conversant with the entire erection methods and sequence of Boiler. He must be able to plan for his work in line with the internal target schedule and drive the contractors in order to achieve the target. He must also be able to plan for his resources viz. manpower, plant and machinery, tools and tackles, consumables etc well in advance and initiate requirement for the same to make available in time. He has to have tremendous communication and negotiation skills to deal with customer and contractor for smooth execution of work and certification of invoice in time. He must focus on safety of his work area abiding by the Zero Tolerance mandate of management. He should also be very focussed on the quality of the job to ensure doing everything right in the first instance itself to avoid rework in future.
