About This Role
This entry-level field role supports the Pottsvile, PA area by installing energy efficiency measures to reduce home energy bills for residential customers. You will work alongside team members and learn on the job, with no prior experience needed.
Responsibilities
- Install energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heaters
- Perform minor repairs to include windows and doors
- Assist with loading and unloading work trucks
- Assist with keeping the job site organized and safe
- Assist with job site set up and tear down
Requirements
- High School diploma and/or GED
- Able to work under different weather conditions including extreme hot and cold weather
- Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
- Crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach often working in crawl spaces and under mobile homes for part of the workday
- Use repetitive hand motion & use of basic hand and power tools
- Use of a ladder at various heights (up to 3 stories)
- Lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds as needed
- Successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
- Consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment
- Meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations (if applicable)
- Authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support
