Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded AM Law 50 law firm seeking a Energy & Infrastructure – Infrastructure Associate to join its San Francisco, CA office.
This role focuses on sophisticated infrastructure projects, including PPPs, concessions, project financings and related sponsor-side work. Associates will work closely with clients across core and emerging infrastructure asset classes in a fast-moving transactional environment.

The Role
The successful attorney will support and lead key components of the practice, including:
- Advise on infrastructure-focused project transactions.
- Handle PPP, concessions and project-financing workstreams.
- Support sponsor and financing-party representations.
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents and coordinate closings.
- Work across core infrastructure and emerging asset classes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a Energy & Infrastructure – Infrastructure Associate with:
- 3–9+ years of relevant infrastructure experience.
- Experience with PPPs, concessions, project financing and drop-down transactions.
- Experience representing equity sponsors, financing parties and/or other private-sector PPP participants.
- Experience with core infrastructure assets is required; greenfield infrastructure experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent academic credentials and communication skills.
- California bar membership
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000–$435,000, depending on experience, qualifications and other relevant factors.
