Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated
Onsite Medical Representative (EMT)
to support workplace health and safety by providing first aid, responding to medical emergencies, promoting injury prevention, and maintaining employee health records. The OMR will work closely with the Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team to ensure a safe work environment and support workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees.
- Assess work-related and non-work-related injuries and refer employees to outside medical providers when needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and daily activity logs.
- Support workers' compensation and return-to-work processes.
- Promote injury prevention and educate employees on safe work practices.
- Maintain medical supplies and ensure the medical area is organized.
- Assist with emergency response, CPR/AED training, and drug testing protocols.
- Work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current
Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification. - One of the following:
- Current
EMT
or
Paramedic
certification (State or NREMT),
or - Recent military medical experience (Combat Medic, Corpsman, Healthcare Specialist, etc.),
or - Active Athletic Trainer certification.
- Current
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in occupational health, industrial wellness, or emergency medical services.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workers' compensation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
- CPR/First Aid instructor certification is a plus.
Note:
- Daily Schedule: Nights (Sun-Wed, 6 PM-5:30 AM)
