Employee Relations Manager

About This Role

This Employee Relations Manager role is a pivotal opportunity within a European professional services organization, joining its People & Culture team during a period of growth and transformation. The role focuses on shaping a positive employee experience, providing expert advice on complex employee relations matters, and supporting the organization's ambitious growth strategy.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex employee relations cases from end to end, ensuring fair, timely and impartial resolution
• Provide expert guidance to managers on UK employment legislation and best practice
• Lead investigations, hearings and mediation processes where required
• Support organisational change activities, including restructures, mergers and TUPE processes
• Identify ER trends and use management information to inform proactive interventions and continuous improvement
• Coach and develop managers to build capability and confidence in people matters
• Contribute to wider People projects and strategic initiatives

Requirements

• Significant experience managing complex employee relations cases within a fast-paced environment
• Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge constructively at all levels
• Experience supporting organisational change programmes, including restructures and TUPE transfers
• A pragmatic, commercially minded approach to risk and decision-making
• High levels of professionalism, discretion and integrity when dealing with sensitive matters
