Employee Relations Manager

About This Role

Managing complex workplace situations with empathy and sound judgment is at the heart of this Employee Relations Manager role. You will help build a respectful and fair workplace environment by establishing foundational frameworks, policies, and practices. This role suits someone who thinks systemically and can spot underlying organizational patterns to ensure healthy workplace relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage workplace concerns from initial intake through to practical resolution
• Conduct and coordinate fair, objective, and confidential workplace investigations
• Facilitate difficult conversations and support mediation between employees and leaders
• Coach managers and teammates on respectful communication and conflict resolution
• Support the Speak Up process and other formal reporting channels
• Develop practical employee relations policies and guidance frameworks
• Collaborate with local HR teams to ensure practices align with regional legislation and employee representation requirements

• Professional experience handling employee relations, employment law, or workplace investigations
• A working knowledge of European employment law and legal frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
• Experience collaborating with Works Councils, employee representative bodies, or similar participation structures on consultation and co-determination processes
• The proven ability to conduct balanced, confidential workplace investigations
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Experience navigating organizational change or workforce consultations
• An understanding of GDPR and workplace privacy considerations
