About the role
Role: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (PRN, night shifts)
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with standards and departmental needs. Collaborate with medical teams to assess, perform, teach, and manage patient care.
Assess and manage patient pain, perform procedures, document care accurately, respond promptly to patient requests, and proactively anticipate needs. Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and lifestyle modifications to support self-management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma; Bachelor's preferred
- Less than 1 year relevant experience
- Current RN licensure in applicable state(s) or active compact license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtained within 30 days Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), obtained within 90 days
Key Duties: Deliver compassionate care, document accurately, educate patients, and collaborate effectively within the healthcare team. Maintain licensure and certifications as required.
