About This Role
This full-time, on-site role is based in Peachtree Corners, GA, and involves delivering timely, safe, and compassionate pre-hospital care and transport to patients. The Emergency Medical Technician will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, assess patient conditions, and perform appropriate medical interventions.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls
- Assess patient conditions
- Perform appropriate medical interventions within scope of practice
- Safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles and equipment
- Collaborate with dispatch, healthcare facilities, and other emergency personnel
- Document patient care accurately
- Follow all local, state, and federal regulations
- Support medical standby services at events
- Represent the organization with professionalism and empathy in all patient and community interactions
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Emergency Services and Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
- Current certification with the U.S. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)
- Background in Medicine and pre-hospital care
- Valid Georgia EMT license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current CPR/Basic Life Support certification
- Ability to lift, move, and transport patients and equipment safely
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
- Strong communication skills
- Calm demeanor under pressure
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Clean driving record and ability to operate emergency vehicles in compliance with safety protocols
Nice to have:
- Paramedic certification or advanced credentials
- Prior experience in ambulance transport or related clinical settings
