This night-shift post on the cardiac ward pairs patient care with mentoring new nurses. The Emergency Medical Technician provides clinical management of patients under Maine EMS protocols and within the scope of their licensure during emergency and routine ambulance runs. They are responsible for meeting applicable State of Maine and department standards for managing all assigned personnel, equipment, and supplies, and for promoting teamwork with other pre-hospital caregivers, physicians, and hospital personnel.
