Within the fast-paced Emergency Room, the Nurse Educator will support nurses caring for patients with diverse, urgent, and high-acuity needs. This Emergency Department education role offers exposure to complex cases, rapid assessment, emergency stabilization, and collaborative care with physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, case management, and other specialists. Reporting to nursing education and clinical leadership, the Clinical Nursing Instructor will receive support from experienced leaders, friendly nurses, and a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include assessing learning needs, coordinating orientation and competency validation, developing educational programs, supporting regulatory readiness, promoting evidence-based practice, coaching emergency nurses, and measuring the effectiveness of staff development initiatives. The Nurse Educator will also help strengthen onboarding, continuing education, patient safety, shared decision-making, and professional growth throughout the Emergency Room.
