Software application development for web tool to bridge Chemical Purchasing needs between the Procurement system and the chemical management system. Includes testing and documentation.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, test, and document code for procurement of chemicals.
- Approvals for chemical purchases and calculation of cumulative totals.
- Goal is to approve or reject procurement chemical requests and to enable Business Intelligence reporting.
- Optimize algorithms for performance.
- Implement communications protocol to send/receive data and commands between server and device.
Technologies:
- HTML 5
- SQL
- C/C++
- Linux/Unix
- Experience with standard dev tools: revision control, issue tracking, profilers, debugging, etc.
- Additional Experience: Performance Monitoring and tuning; Agile development experience.
