About This Role
This role involves the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of various types of elevators, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. It suits a technician with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, capable of diagnosing and resolving complex faults.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission passenger, freight, and commercial elevators
- Perform preventive maintenance as per maintenance schedules
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system faults
- Carry out repairs and replace defective elevator components
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Maintain accurate service reports and job documentation
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to complete jobs efficiently
- Travel to customer sites across South India whenever required
Requirements
- 2–10 years of hands-on experience in elevator installation, maintenance, or repair
- Freshers willing to learn in the elevator industry can also apply
- ITI (Electrician/Fitter), Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification
- Elevator installation and commissioning skills
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance skills
- Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills
- Electrical and mechanical repair skills
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and technical drawings
- Control panel troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and customer handling skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Knowledge of elevator safety standards
- Willing to travel across South India
Nice to have:
- Experience with passenger and commercial elevators
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence
