About This Role
Teaching mathematics in a group setting to elementary school students is the main focus of this instructor role at Waseda Academy. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting students' growth and can commit to a consistent schedule, even on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide group instruction in mathematics to elementary school students
- Follow established curricula for each course
- Perform pre- and post-class duties such as greeting and seeing off students
- Respond to student questions and provide support outside of class time
Requirements
- University student
- Graduate student
- Working professional who has graduated from a four-year university
- Able to work with flexible hours or only one day a week
- Able to work within dependent family member status
- Able to work a second job (not with another cram school)

- Experience with junior high school or high school entrance exams
- Interest in the education industry

- Class duration: 40 to 140 minutes (depends on grade/subject)
- Working hours: Start 15 minutes before class begins
