Electromechanical Technician

The Electromechanical Technician has a responsibility to be knowledge of basic equipment maintenance/service and capability of repairing systems and any other maintenance procedures.

What you will do

• Implement and handle preventive maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs;
• Diagnose and handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building;
• Comply with Four Seasons work rules and standards of conduct;
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors;
• Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner;
• Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.;
• Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department and hotel.

What you bring

• One to two years of previous experience;
• Technical training or certification in Electromechanics, Maintenance or a related field (recognized in the EU);
• Ability to read, write and understand mechanical and electrical symbolisms to interpret blueprints, schematics, and specification;
• Experienced in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical system;
• Knowledge to ensure the proper functioning of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, electrical panels, kitchen and laundry equipment;
• Ability to respond promptly to technical issues to minimize disruption to hotel operations;
• Ability to support general maintenance tasks when required;
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and automation controls valued;
• Attention to detail and proactivity in identifying faults before they impact operations;
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations;
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Maintenance team and other departments;
• Fluent level of Portuguese required; English language skills preferred;
• Previous hotel or luxury brand experience preferred;
• Must hold authorization to work in a European country;
• Have the ability to demonstrate your unique personality and service style while achieving the brand standards that make us Four Seasons.

Electrician

The Electrician has a responsibility to be knowledge of basic equipment maintenance/service and capability of repairing systems and any other maintenance procedures.

What you bring

• One to two years of previous experience;
• Certified and legally qualified Electrician (holding a valid professional license or equivalent certification recognized in the EU);
• Ability to read, write and understand mechanical and electrical symbolisms to interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications;
• Experienced in the proper use of all power, hand tools, and specialized equipment associated with the electrical trade;
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and preventive maintenance practices;
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and light carpentry — useful for general maintenance support;
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and automation controls valued;
• Attention to detail and proactivity in identifying faults before they impact operations;
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations;
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Maintenance team and other departments;
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergencies;
• Fluent level of Portuguese required; English language skills preferred;
• Previous hotel or luxury brand experience preferred;
• Must hold authorization to work in a European country.
