Job Description
Schedule: 40 hours per week - 4X10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday 7am - 1730pm with rotating holidays and potential weekend coverage.

• Performs diagnostic electrocardiograms and independently conducts ECG testing.
• Positions and applies electrodes correctly, ensuring proper application of Holter Monitors.
• Identifies and corrects for wandering, interference, and artifact during procedures.
• Obtains all necessary information for accurate interpretation and communicates abnormal findings to the nurse or physician promptly.
• Manages unmatched lists and responds to patient orders in a timely manner.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Ability to read, write legibly and perform basic mathematical functions [Required]
• Ability to provide care to the population served [Required]
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]
• Ability to assess data regarding patient status and health [Required]
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of diverse backgrounds [Required]

Education

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience

• 1+ experience with electronic medical records [Preferred]
• 1+ experience with ecg machines [Required]
• 1+ performing ecgs for 1 yr in a hospital setting [Preferred]
