About the role
This role involves managing the financial and commercial aspects of construction projects. You will be responsible for cost estimation, tendering, budget monitoring, valuation, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate quantities, materials, labor, and timeframes before a project begins
- Prepare tender packages, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Track ongoing expenses, manage variations (changes in design or scope), and forecast financial outcomes
- Assess completed work on-site and process progress claims or subcontractor payments
- Identify commercial risks and help resolve contractual claims or disputes
- Visit site for checking when required
