About the role
Duties
· Demonstrate journey level repair experience with electrical equipment and refrigeration/air conditioning equipment to assist lower graded employees with advance repairs.
· Plan sequence of work to disassemble, repair, assemble, install, and test electrical cables, equipment, and accessories timely and efficiently.
· Instruct employees in the safe operation of both hand and electrical tools to ensure a safe work area.
· Perform functional checks of work completed on electrical components installed or repaired to ensure safety.
· Assist mechanics in replacing complex electrical components by following technical orders, manufacturer specifications, and standard trade methods.
