Roles and responsibilities

The Electrical Drafter will work closely with project engineers on design drawings and redline markups.

Prepare plan and section drawings.

Work on single-line diagrams, panel elevations, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Demonstrate good knowledge of CAD standards and best practices.

Learn and successfully apply company, client, and project drafting standards and procedures.

Adhere to client quality standards.

Provide technical guidance to junior drafters on drafting software and tools.
-
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
-
Preferably 2 to 4 years of experience in the electrical field.

Proficiency in CAD software, including Autodesk AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Familiarity with Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft 365.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-
Preferred experience in 3D design tools such as Revit or Inventor.
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio would be an added advantage.
-
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical would be an added advantage.
This job posting will remain open a minimum of 72 hours and on an ongoing basis until filled.
