• Working Hours: 5 days | Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $6,000 Basic + $300 Motorbike Allowance (If own and use motorcycle) + Mobile Provided + Overtime allowance based on the company’s fixed hourly rate + Overseas travel allowance + Overseas accommodation, meals and transportation provided according to company policy + Up to 4 months’ variable bonus, subject to company and individual performance + 14 Days Annual Leave + Insurance Coverage

This is an end-to-end industrial automation position covering electrical design, machine wiring, PLC and HMI programming, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.

The role is suitable for candidates who enjoy practical engineering work and want exposure to the complete machine automation lifecycle, rather than a desk-based programming position.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare electrical schematic diagrams
• Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC programs
• Configure HMI graphics and interfaces
• Perform machine assembly, electrical wiring and control panel work
• Conduct installation, testing and commissioning
• Troubleshoot electrical, control-system and machinery faults
• Provide on-site service and technical support
• Prepare technical documentation and user manuals
• Support occasional overseas assignments
• Work Allocation: Approximately 70% to 80% of the role involves hands-on installation, wiring, testing and troubleshooting, with 20% to 30% covering PLC/HMI programming, design and documentation.

Requirements:

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, machinery or equipment engineering is preferred
• Practical experience in electrical wiring, installation and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of PLC programming and HMI development
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Able to interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Comfortable working at customer sites
• Willing to travel overseas when required
• Overseas travel is approximately one to five trips per year, ranging from one day to two weeks per assignment.
• Able to support occasional weekend or extended-hour assignments during installation and commissioning projects
• Occasional weekend or extended-hour work may be required for installation or commissioning projects. Overtime allowance will be provided based on the company’s fixed hourly rate.
