Youll play a pivotal role in fostering a high-performing environmental, health, and safety culture across our operations. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (such as Maintenance, Retrofit, and Validation teams), ensuring compliance with EHS standards, developing and implementing EHS plans, and much more.

Youll specifically take care of deploying Alstom EHS standards and tools, monitoring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and conducting risk assessments, but also supporting project teams and implementing emergency plans.

  • Supporting the Services Business in achieving EHS results
  • Developing and implementing EHS plans and programs for continuous improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with EHS statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements
  • Preparing and delivering EHS training programs
  • Leading internal EHS audits and inspections
  • Promoting a positive EHS culture across all levels of the business

  • University Degree (BE, B. Tech) or Diploma in Engineering from a reputed institute, with specialization in Industrial Safety Engineering or a Diploma in Industrial Safety
  • Significant experience in an industrial or electrical environment (railway safety experience is an advantage)
  • Good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Protection legislation, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
  • Experience in risk assessment, environmental impact analysis, and incident investigations
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Tableau
  • Strong communication skills and ability to deliver clear messages across all levels
  • Proactive and strategic thinking with adaptability and teamwork skills
