Roles & Responsibilities
- Safety Compliance & Monitoring
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor adherence to local, state, and national EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Maintain and update safety documentation and permits.
- Training & Awareness
- Organize and conduct safety induction and training programs for workers and staff.
- Promote awareness of EHS policies through toolbox talks and safety campaigns.
- Incident Management
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Support return-to-work programs and rehabilitation plans.
- Environmental Management
- Ensure proper waste disposal and pollution control measures.
- Monitor environmental impact and implement mitigation strategies.
- Emergency Preparedness
- Develop and implement emergency response plans.
- Conduct mock drills and evaluate readiness.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of inspections, audits, and training.
- Submit periodic EHS performance reports to management.
