- Plan, execute, and document E/E function validation tests across vehicle platforms, covering Infotainment, Body, Powertrain, and ADAS/Chassis domains.
- Perform vehicle-level E/E testing including component function checks, bus communication validation (CAN/FlexRay/LIN/Ethernet), and diagnostic function verification (DTC, ECU basic functions).
- Set up, configure, and operate E/E testing and diagnostic tools including EDIABAS, INPA, ACE (Check In), X2E Data Logger SW, and BRIAN.
- Utilize testing facility equipment such as climate chambers and test tracks (internal & external) for comprehensive E/E validation.
- Conduct problem analysis, root cause identification, and issue tracking using problem management tools including OBDII.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure E/E system performance meets project requirements and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation, reports, and status updates using MS Office tools.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and protocols during testing activities.
- Support vehicle configuration management and E/E system integration in line with MINI SW implementation plans.
- Perform specific testing activities by domain:
- ADAS & Chassis: Conduct driving-based validation for passenger assistance functions.
- Infotainment: Execute hands-on E/E testing for infotainment systems.
- Body: Validate vehicle power states, body electronics, tailgate/jointing systems, and door locks.
- Powertrain E/E: Verify operating priorities and basic controller functions. Requirements:
- Working and Educational Background:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related.
- At least 3 years of E/E testing experience in the automotive or industrial EE sector, covering one or more of the following areas: Infotainment EE, Body EE, Powertrain EE.
- Working experience in BMW projects is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Proficiency in Chinese and written English.
- At least 3 years of driving experience with a valid driving license. Advanced driving certification is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of total vehicle structure, E/E architecture, vehicle configuration, manufacturing processes, and overall vehicle E/E function validation.
- General understanding of MINI SW implementation plans.
- E/E knowledge regarding CAN/FlexRay/LIN/Ethernet buses, DTC, and basic ECU functions.
- Capable of complying with all applicable safety regulations and protocols.
- E/E testing tools, including trailer hitch test equipment, parking equipment, etc.
- E/E diagnostic and logging tools, including EDIABAS, INPA, ACE (Check In), X2E Data Logger SW, and BRIAN.
- Problem management tools, including OBDII, etc.
- Testing facility equipment, including climate chambers and test tracks (internal & external).
