Position

Risen Christ is hiring an Educational & Lunchroom Assistant. This is full-time, ~35 hours per week position during the 10-month school year.

This position requires fluency in English. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

Educational Assistants provide instructional, clerical, and/or supervisory support to the classroom teacher and/or school community; especially in the areas of one-on-one or small group skill reinforcement,

classroom management, student supervision, and/or classroom materials preparation. This position is combined with Lunchroom Assistant which supports the food service program in the cafeteria.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Language: Fluency in written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Language: Bilingual fluency in written and spoken Spanish to support English Language Learners (ELL).
• Experience: Prior experience working with children in a school, childcare, tutoring, or youth program setting.
• Education: Associate Degree or higher.
