Education Sales Consultant

About This Role

This sales role focuses on building relationships with school leaders to bring virtual reality science modules into classrooms. The consultant will be the face of Beyond Horizon VR Education for schools in Victoria and South Australia, responsible for demos and closing bookings. The position suits a sales professional with knowledge of the education sector and a self-motivated approach.

Responsibilities

• Identify and connect with decision-makers at schools: principals, curriculum/subject heads, and science coordinators
• Build and manage a pipeline of school leads across Victoria (and South Australia as needed)
• Present and demonstrate Beyond Horizon VR's educational VR programs to school staff
• Negotiate and close sales, from first contact through to booked sessions
• Represent BHVR at education events, expos, and summits
• Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and pipeline status
• Work closely with the delivery team to hand off confirmed bookings smoothly

Requirements

• Sales experience within, or selling into, the education sector: understanding how schools make purchasing decisions and who the key stakeholders are
• Confidence engaging and building rapport with senior decision-makers
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing your own schedule and pipeline in a flexible, work-from-home arrangement
• A valid driver's license and access to your own car (preferred), as the role involves travel to schools
• Must be able to obtain (or already hold) a Working With Children Check and pass a National Police Check
• Strong communication and presentation skills
