About This Role
This role is for a strategic and commercially minded leader who will head the company's procurement function across its international operations. The Global Procurement Director will establish procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives and ensure operational excellence across multiple markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global procurement strategy that supports business growth and operational priorities
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations to maximize value while maintaining quality and reliability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and strategic partners across international markets
- Monitor procurement performance through meaningful metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality, compliance, or supply continuity
- Establish procurement policies, governance standards, and best practices across global operations
- Partner with finance, operations, logistics, and executive leadership to align procurement activities with broader business objectives
- Identify and mitigate procurement and supply chain risks while strengthening supplier resilience
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive procurement experience, including leadership responsibilities in complex or multinational environments
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic procurement initiatives with measurable business impact
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, supplier management, and contract management capabilities
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at senior leadership levels
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term planning and operational execution
