Role Overview

• Act as the EcoSys Functional SME responsible for:

• Configuration

• Implementation

• Governance

• Continuous improvement

• Provide strategic guidance on EcoSys usage across projects.

• Ensure standardization of EcoSys processes and configurations.

• Enable effective use of EcoSys for:

• Project controls

• EPC project execution

• Bridge business requirements and EcoSys system capabilities.

• Serve as both:

• Functional advisor

• Technical owner

• Support projects throughout the complete project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Implementation & Configuration

• Set up and configure:

• Projects

• Structures

• Ensure configurations align with global standards and project requirements.

• Translate project controls and business requirements into effective EcoSys functional designs.

• Configure EcoSys based on business and project needs.

• Support the Project Information Manager with:

• Planning

• Coordination

• Project Delivery Systems implementation

• System integration

• Conduct:

• Functional walkthroughs

• Training sessions

• System demonstrations

• Maintain strong relationships with project teams.

• Ensure project objectives are achieved and solutions remain effective.

• Functional Advisory & Governance - SME Responsibilities

• Act as a functional advisor to project teams.

• Provide best-practice guidance for effective EcoSys usage.

• Define, maintain, and enforce:

• EcoSys standards

• Templates

• Governance frameworks

• Ensure consistent EcoSys practices across project locations.

• Review and approve:

• Complex configurations

• Change requests

• Project team system-usage approaches

• Ensure project execution requirements remain aligned with EcoSys capabilities.

• Provide authoritative guidance during:

• Project start-up

• Project execution

• Project close-out

• Influence EcoSys system direction at a strategic level.

• Project & User Support

• Provide EcoSys support through ServiceNow.

• Handle:

• Incident resolution

• Troubleshooting

• User assistance

• Identify opportunities to:

• Improve efficiency

• Optimize EcoSys usage

• Improve adoption across functions and project locations

• Monitor system usage for compliance with global standards.

• Ensure functional activities support effective EcoSys adoption.

• Perform system health checks throughout the project lifecycle.

• Support project closeout activities.

• Document lessons learned.

• Support system interfaces through:

• Training

• Troubleshooting

• Data validation guidance

• New Release Testing & Deployment Management

• Lead testing of:

• EcoSys modules

• System interfaces

• Ensure testing aligns with global configuration standards.

• Perform business impact assessments for:

• System upgrades

• New releases

• Ensure projects are not negatively impacted by system changes.

• Coordinate with the EcoSys vendor for issue resolution.

• Track and ensure timely closure of reported defects.

• Plan and support production rollouts.

• Manage:

• User communications

• Readiness planning

• Change management

• Monitor post-deployment system performance.

• Manage stabilization activities until system stability is confirmed.

• Integration & Data Flow Management

• Provide functional guidance on integration design and data flows between EcoSys and external systems.

• Work with systems such as:

• Primavera P6

• SAP/ERP

• Aconex

• Support validation and troubleshooting of system interfaces.

• Ensure interface data is:

• Accurate

• Consistent

• Complete

• Collaborate with interface owners to:

• Resolve data mapping issues

• Troubleshoot integration problems

• Ensure seamless system interoperability

• Systems Knowledge & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of:

• EcoSys modules

• Project controls processes

• EPC project execution workflows

• Evaluate new EcoSys functionality.

• Determine fit-for-purpose adoption based on business requirements.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to improve:

• Productivity

• Reporting

• Data visibility

• System efficiency

• Contribute to the EcoSys system roadmap.

• Support strategic improvement planning with global teams.

• Maintain a high-level understanding of external systems, particularly:

Experience Requirements Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with:

• EcoSys configuration

• EcoSys administration

• EcoSys support

• 10+ years of overall experience in:

• Application configuration

• Application support

• EPC environments

• Project controls

• Demonstrated experience in:

• Oil & Gas

• EPC project delivery

• Proven experience managing:

• System upgrades

• Production rollouts

• Post-deployment stabilization
