Salary: $60,000–$65,000 annually

Location: Deerfield Beach, FL

Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday

Job Overview The Learning Experience is seeking a creative and passionate Early Childhood Curriculum Specialist to help shape engaging educational experiences for children from infancy through age five .

This role is ideal for an experienced early childhood educator who has worked directly with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and Pre-K children and is ready to transition from the classroom into curriculum development. Your firsthand knowledge of how young children learn will help create meaningful lessons, teacher resources, classroom materials, and educational content used across hundreds of childcare centers nationwide.

Key Responsibilities Curriculum Development

  • Develop and enhance curriculum, lesson plans, and classroom resources designed specifically for children ages 0–5
  • Create developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support cognitive, social-emotional, language, and physical development
  • Ensure curriculum aligns with The Learning Experience philosophy, current research, and best practices in early childhood education
  • Review educational content for developmental appropriateness, quality, consistency, and accuracy

Educational Content Creation

  • Write teacher guides, classroom activities, family resources, and instructional materials
  • Create engaging educational content that is practical, easy to implement, and supports classroom success
  • Develop presentations, visual resources, and curriculum support materials using Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe InDesign, or similar design tools
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Learning & Development teams to produce high-quality educational content

Research and Continuous Improvement

  • Research emerging trends and best practices in early childhood education
  • Monitor changes to early learning standards, licensing requirements, QRIS, and accreditation expectations
  • Analyze curriculum feedback and assessment data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Participate in curriculum reviews, pilot programs, and educational innovation projects

Teacher Support

  • Help develop implementation guides and classroom resources that support teacher success
  • Assist with virtual and in-person professional development initiatives
  • Provide educational expertise to support curriculum implementation across TLE centers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field required
  • 2+ years of classroom teaching experience working directly with children from infancy through age five strongly preferred
  • Experience as an Infant, Toddler, Preschool, or Pre-K teacher highly preferred
  • Elementary Education experience will be considered; however, experience with children ages 0–5 is strongly preferred due to the developmental focus of this role
  • Excellent writing, editing, grammar, and communication skills
  • Strong creativity with the ability to develop engaging educational content and classroom materials
  • Experience creating documents, presentations, and instructional resources using Microsoft Office; Canva or Adobe InDesign experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing curriculum, lesson plans, or instructional materials
  • Knowledge of child assessment tools and early learning standards
  • Familiarity with NAEYC, QRIS, ECERS, ITERS, CLASS, or similar quality frameworks
  • Experience supporting curriculum implementation or teacher training
  • Passion for creating exceptional learning experiences for young children
