About the role

We are partnering with a busy law firm in their search for an experienced and detail oriented E-discovery Project Manager.

This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days in office, 2 remote days based in their DC office.

Salary Range- $110,000-$170,000 based on experience

Typical Schedule: M-F 8-5 (overtime expected based on workload)

The eDiscovery Project Manager serves as the primary contact for attorneys, paralegals, clients, and vendors, managing multiple matters concurrently and overseeing all phases of the eDiscovery lifecycle. This role requires strong project management, technical expertise, and a commitment to exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full eDiscovery lifecycle, including data preservation, collection, processing, analytics, review, production, and quality control.
  • Lead matter intake meetings to establish scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
  • Advise case teams on workflow efficiencies, timelines, and cost estimates.
  • Utilize analytics tools, including email threading, clustering, near-duplicate detection, concept searching, and TAR, to streamline review.
  • Coordinate vendors, monitor budgets and schedules, and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Perform quality assurance testing on processed data, load files, images, and productions.
  • Troubleshoot eDiscovery applications and databases as needed.
  • Maintain defensible documentation, provide project status updates, and ensure compliance with departmental procedures.
  • Mentor junior team members and support process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of eDiscovery project management experience, preferably in a large law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of the EDRM and hands-on experience with data processing, analytics, review platforms, and productions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong client service, organizational, and project management skills.

Preferred Certification

  • Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) or equivalent.
