About This Role
An E-commerce Fulfillment Associate prepares online customer orders by accurately selecting items using both automated and manual systems. This role focuses on choosing the highest quality products for customers and ensuring efficient order processing for delivery.
Responsibilities
- Accurately select groceries ordered via automated system
- Ensure equipment is operated in a safe manner
- Accurately select ordered items via manual shopping in a timely manner
- Select highest quality produce, meat, and other fresh products
- Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones
- Organize, stack, and stage orders for store delivery
- Load orders into trucks securely for store delivery
- Adhere to company policies and facility guidelines
- Report to work when scheduled and on time
- Count, merge, and consolidate inventory
- Stock and re-pack inventory as directed
- Sort and organize equipment
- Clean equipment and environment as directed
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required
Requirements
- Must be 18+
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to see detail at near range with or without correction
- Physically able to perform medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds of force frequently, 10 pounds of force constantly, and 10 pounds of force continually to move objects
- Physically able to work intermittently in temperatures below 32 degrees F
- Able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions

- Able to perform addition and subtraction involving whole numbers

- Ability to follow instructions for completing routine and repetitive tasks
Important Details
- Working Conditions: The duties of this position are performed in a warehouse setting. There is continuous exposure to dust, noise, temperature extremes, equipment movement hazards, and electrical shock. There is constant pressure to meet deadlines. This is a fast-paced work environment.
