Morning shift 5am - 12pm
6am - 2pm
Afternoon shift 12pm - 5pm
2pm -9pm
3pm -9pm
Weekends required
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accurate cash handling records.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure food safety and proper hygiene during beverage preparation and food service.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as serving customers, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean environment.
Requirements
- Previous food service or café experience is preferred; familiarity with beverage service or barista skills is a plus.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and POS operations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform light cleaning duties, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
