About This Role
This role involves performing drywall work for renovation, refurbishment, and existing building projects in Wuppertal and the surrounding area. It suits a skilled tradesperson who works independently or in small teams, takes initiative, and focuses on finding solutions rather than waiting for instructions.
Responsibilities
- Construct drywall walls and furring shells
- Install metal substructures
- Produce and suspend drywall ceilings
- Plank with plasterboard and gypsum fiberboards
- Execute sound and fire protection constructions
- Install insulation materials
- Produce door openings, installation walls, and cladding
- Perform plastering and preparation work
- Carry out conversions and adjustments in existing buildings
- Work according to drawings and execution plans
- Coordinate with construction management and other trades
- Independently organize work on site
- Carefully handle materials, tools, and the construction site
Requirements
- Experience in drywall or interior construction
- Independent and reliable way of working
- Proficient in using common tools and machines
- Understanding of drawings and execution plans
- Diligence and a good eye for the work performed
- Sense of responsibility on the construction site
- Willingness to make independent decisions within your own work area
- Good collaboration in a small team
- German language skills for communication on the construction site
Nice to have:
- Completed vocational training in drywall, interior construction, or a comparable trade
- Driver's license Class B
