Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels accurately according to project specifications and blueprints
• Secure drywall sheets using appropriate fasteners, ensuring proper alignment and stability
• Finish joints with taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing to achieve smooth surfaces ready for painting or finishing
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine layout and material requirements
• Perform caulking around seams and edges to ensure airtight and moisture-resistant finishes
• Assist with carpentry tasks such as framing or minor repairs as needed on-site
• Maintain a clean work area by organizing materials, tools, and debris throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing with a keen eye for detail
• Strong knowledge of construction painting techniques to prepare surfaces for final coats
• Ability to read blueprints accurately and translate plans into precise on-site work
• Carpentry skills including framing, measuring, cutting, and assembly are highly desirable
• Skilled in caulking techniques for sealing joints and gaps effectively
• Handyman experience that demonstrates versatility across various construction tasks
• Familiarity with safety protocols and proper use of tools such as saws, drills, levels, and scaffolding
