About This Role
This drywall installer role involves working on renovation and existing building projects in Wuppertal and the surrounding area. You will primarily work independently or in small teams, taking responsibility for various tasks and finding solutions. The position suits a skilled craftsperson who values quality work and clear communication.
Responsibilities
- Create drywall walls and furring strips
- Assemble metal substructures
- Produce and suspend drywall ceilings
- Plank with plasterboard and gypsum fiberboards
- Execute sound and fire protection constructions
- Install insulation materials
- Create door openings, installation walls, and cladding
- Perform plastering and preparation work
- Carry out conversions and adjustments in existing buildings
- Work according to drawings and execution plans
- Coordinate with construction management and other trades
- Independently organize work on site
- Handle materials, tools, and the construction site carefully
Requirements
- Experience in drywall or interior construction
- Independent and reliable working style
- Proficient use of common tools and machines
- Understanding of drawings and execution plans
- Diligence and a good eye for the work performed
- Sense of responsibility on the construction site
- Willingness to make independent decisions within your work area
- Good collaboration in a small team
- German language skills for communication on the construction site
