Drywall Installer

About This Role

The Drywall Installer will join a dynamic construction team, installing, finishing, and repairing drywall surfaces on commercial and residential projects. This role involves utilizing a wide range of construction skills to create smooth, durable walls and ceilings that meet high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels accurately according to project specifications and schematics
• Finish drywall joints with taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing to achieve a seamless surface
• Repair or replace damaged drywall sections promptly to maintain project timelines and quality standards
• Operate hand tools such as saws, drills, screw guns, and trowels efficiently and safely
• Use power tools including sanders, cutters, and drills to expedite installation processes
• Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to ensure proper integration of systems within walls
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal on-site

Requirements

• Proven experience in drywall installation, finishing, or related construction roles
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for drywall work
• Ability to read schematics and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, masonry, plastering, welding, fabrication, and construction painting
• Additional experience in carpentry or masonry
