About the role
We are seeking a safe, reliable, and customer-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our transportation team. The driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of freight while complying with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and professionalism when interacting with customers and team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle.
Transport freight efficiently and on schedule.
Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Complete and maintain accurate driver logs and transportation documents.
Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, state, and local regulations.
Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
Report vehicle defects, accidents, incidents, and delays immediately.
Maintain communication with dispatch and management regarding route status.
Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations.
Assist with loading and unloading when required.

Requirements:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Current DOT Medical Certificate.
Minimum of 21 years of age.
Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol screening requirements.
Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Class A CDL driving experience.
1 year experience operating tractors with dry van trailers.
HazMat endorsement (preferred but not required).
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to climb in and out of tractors and trailers safely.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
