The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, compassionate patient care to promote positive outcomes through efficient nursing practices. Working under general supervision , the role involves coordinating patient care via the nursing process and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Assessing patient needs and conditions to deliver appropriate care
- Analyzing medical history, diagnostic results, and current status to develop personalized care plans
- Preparing and administering medications and treatments
- Reconciling medical records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions accordingly
- Collaborating with care team members for effective planning
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications And Skills
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience: At least 1 year as a Registered Nurse; clinical specialty experience preferred
- Licensure: Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider)
