Drafting detailed technical drawings and construction plans is the core of this role, working from initial sketches and project specifications provided by senior engineers. This position suits a drafter with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in CAD software, who can ensure all technical documentation is precise, organized, and compliant with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical drawings and construction plans based on initial sketches and project specifications from senior engineers
- Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to develop precise technical designs that meet industry standards
- Perform revisions and modifications to technical drawings in accordance with feedback and design changes from the project management team
- Ensure all technical documentation is complete, organized, and compliant with company standards and applicable regulations
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other technical professionals to ensure design consistency across all documentation
- Conduct quality checks on technical drawings to detect errors and inconsistencies before final completion
- Document and archive all technical files using a structured and easily accessible management system
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Drafter in civil, mechanical, or a related industry
- Proficient in professional CAD software, especially AutoCAD, with the ability to create detailed and accurate technical drawings
- In-depth understanding of technical drawing standards, technical symbols, and relevant industry regulations
- Minimum Diploma (D3) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical specifications, and project documentation thoroughly
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- High attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines
- Experience with supporting software such as Microsoft Office and digital file management systems is a plus
