Drafter

About This Role

This drafter role involves creating, developing, and revising technical drawings using Autodesk Fusion software to meet design, production, and company standards. The position ensures manufacturing or project processes run accurately and efficiently, and suits a detail-oriented individual with strong technical drawing skills.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D working drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Fusion
• Prepare detailed drawings for production or fabrication processes
• Revise drawings according to instructions from superiors, engineers, or customer requests
• Ensure all drawings comply with technical specifications, dimensions, and company standards
• Coordinate with engineering, production, QC, and related divisions to ensure drawings can be produced
• Store and manage drawing files neatly according to the company's documentation system
• Assist in the design development process and provide technical input when necessary
• Ensure all drawing documents always use the latest revision
• Maintain the confidentiality of all design data and company documents

Requirements

• Minimum education of SMK/D3 in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related major
• Proficient in Autodesk Fusion (Fusion 360)
• Able to create 2D technical drawings and 3D models
• Understand technical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing processes
• Able to operate Microsoft Office
• Meticulous, disciplined, able to work in a team or independently
• Possess good communication and coordination skills
