About This Role
Developing and unit testing straightforward or low-complexity components is the main focus of this Dot Net Developer role. The position involves following low-level designs and contributing to the project life cycle under supervision, with support from colleagues and team leaders.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure software modules, interfaces and components
- Program ASP.Net MVC using C#, Dot net Core, Web API, Entity Framework, HTML 5, Java Script, J Query, CSS, Bootstrap
- Participate in requirements analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
- Apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes and tools to support the system
- Interact with various stakeholders to finalize the design and interfaces
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or engineering with a focus on language processing
- 2-5 years of experience in coding using .NET languages (C+, VB, .NET)
- Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
- Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Dot net Core) and HTML5/CSS3
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Proficiency in using MVC
- A strong foundation in SSRS/SSIS
- Experience producing code using .NET languages (C#)
- Experience upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems
- Experience providing technical support for web, desktop or mobile applications
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Good command of English communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
